The Exhibitionist is a journal focusing solely on the practice of exhibition making. Its objectives are to create a wider platform for the discussion of curatorial concerns, encourage a diversification of curatorial models, and actively contribute to the formation of a theory of curating.
Jens Hoffmann (Ed.) on this Issue: For the prior seven issues of The Exhibitionist, we have very consciously stayed away from interviews and conversations in favor of essays. This Issue came from a desire to reconsider writing as an essential part of the practice of a curator. It is incredibly important, I think, for us to articulate our thoughts about art and exhibition making in written form.
