In Absent Places We Dwell

availability unknown, if interested please write an email

The exhibition publication "In Absent Places We Dwell" is made up for two sections:

I. The first section consists of a visual essay which could be read as the trailer of the exhibition. The images, which were chosen before the exhibition by each artist, present a direct or silent link with the exhibited work. Once the exhibition opens, the first section transforms itself into a printed supplement which joins the printed images and the visible works in the space.

II. The secont section centers around the exhibition space. Each artwork is documented in a synoptic point of view and is shown next to a transcribed interview with its author. The event programmation is also archived.

The final object concretizes multiple temporalities and spatialities: first a trailer, then a reader, then a catalogue, it confronts the future, present and past, virtual and real, fiction and document.
